Taste: 9/10. The filling is sweet and cinnamon-y, and the cream cheese glaze is also good. I was hoping the filling would caramelize and disperse throughout the entire roll, like ordinary cinnamon rolls, but the filling stayed in one spot so not every bite had that cinnamon flavor.
Texture: 8/10. There were so much textures going on. There was the breadlike texture from the bun part (same dough recipe as the pastry roses) and the gooeyness from the filling and glaze.
Presentation: 6/10. The rolls look like regular cinnamon rolls, but the glaze is a little messy.
Time/Convenience: 1/10. First I had to make the dough, then let it rise, then roll it with the filling, then let it rise for another hour, then bake it.
All in all: 6.25/10. YUM!
