Taste: 8/10. The cookies were very sweet and the whiskey and pecans added a subtle adult flavor.
Texture: 9/10. The cookies were soft and crumbly, and the powdered sugar melted from the heat of the cookie to form a kind of glaze. I don't like the texture of nuts, so I was glad when the ground pecans integrated into the cookie.
Presentation: 7/10. They looked pretty fancy coated in the powdered sugar.
Convenience: 2/10. The prep and cook time was quick as usual, but finding the bourbon was nearly impossible. It was hard finding kosher bourbon, since both my mother and I are unfamiliar with alcohol. In the end we got Jack Daniels, which is similar to bourbon.
All in all: 6.5/10. When you can't decide between a snowball fight and food fight.
